This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

• Analyze and comprehend source code written in Node.js, identifying business rules, integrations, and dependencies.

• Convert and refactor monolithic or legacy applications into a Java-based microservices architecture.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain microservices while adhering to software architecture and development best practices.

• Create and execute unit tests to guarantee the quality, stability, and reliability of deliverables.

• Integrate systems and applications through REST and GraphQL APIs (Apollo Client), ensuring optimal performance and security.

• Engage in code reviews, suggest technical enhancements, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the platform.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements.

• At least 3 years of experience in Java development.

• Proficient knowledge and experience with Node.js, including the analysis and maintenance of existing code.

• Experience with unit testing utilizing JUnit.

• Familiarity with integrating and consuming REST APIs.

• Experience with GraphQL, particularly with the use of Apollo Client.

• Understanding of microservices architecture.
