IT Systems Implementation Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct audits based on risk assessments and System Pre-Implementation Reviews (SPIRs)

• Set audit goals and evaluate processes along with associated risks

• Create and execute control testing

• Determine the effectiveness of controls in mitigating risks

• Convey impacts on objectives

• Formulate recommendations and compile final reports detailing control effectiveness for each identified risk

• Relay issues, risks, and technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Lead IT audit teams in conducting SPIRs for ERP implementations, cloud migrations, SaaS deployments, system integrations, and AI solutions

• Evaluate project governance, solution design, security controls, data migration, testing, segregation of duties, operational readiness, and go-live risks

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Information Technology, IT Audit, Technology Risk, System Implementations, IT Operations, Application Development, Cloud Technologies, or a comparable technical field

• Experience in assessing or participating in large-scale technology implementations, ERP transformations, cloud migrations, SaaS deployments, system integrations, AI projects, or other enterprise transformation initiatives

• Background in cybersecurity, SOX compliance, risk management, or IT auditing

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity laws, regulations, and standards

• Familiarity with COBIT, ISO 27001/27002, NIST, COSO, and general security practices

• Capability to execute risk-based audits and evaluate control effectiveness

• Comprehensive knowledge of cybersecurity processes and concepts, including incident response, secure software development, security governance, cloud computing, SDLC, third-party risk management, penetration testing, vulnerability management, disaster recovery, segregation of duties, audit logging, physical security, access management, and configuration management

• Proven experience leading cybersecurity audits and reviews, as well as conducting security assessments for a global organization

• Exceptional time-management abilities

• Proficient in communicating clearly and professionally in both English and Portuguese to technical and non-technical audiences

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in information security, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred

• Relevant professional certifications are preferred, including CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CIA, CDPSE, ITIL, cloud certifications, or SAP credentials
