IT System Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Operate and manage servers, virtualization, backup, and essential services both on-site and in the cloud.

• Oversee user accounts, access permissions, client interactions, and collaboration tools.

• Integrate new applications through Single Sign-On (SSO).

• Apply patches, enhance security, and monitor systems proactively.

• Address vulnerabilities and respond to security incidents effectively.

• Manage and maintain business applications, encompassing Atlassian and finance software.

• Automate manual processes through scripting.

• Lead projects such as new office setups and the integration of acquired companies.

• Provide IT support for the platform, catering to over 1,000 colleagues and more than 500 clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience as a system administrator in a diverse environment.

• Proficiency in Windows Server and Microsoft 365.

• Familiarity with the Linux command line interface.

• Basic understanding of networking principles.

• Skills in scripting and automation, preferably with PowerShell or Bash.

• Quick learner with the ability to identify root causes and work independently.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.

• Experience with VMware, Veeam, Intune, SentinelOne, or Atlassian administration is a plus.

• Proficiency in German is considered an advantage.
