IT Specialist – Software Engineering and Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create technical solutions for projects by defining architecture, standards, and trade-offs as a foundation prior to development commencement.

• Act as the primary expert on architecture within the team, implementing best practices and consistent technical decisions into the daily activities of the squads.

• Assess and suggest the integration of AI technologies (such as LLMs, intelligent automation, coding assistants, etc.) during the design phase of solutions.

• Develop prototypes and implement solutions to confirm the defined architecture.

• Offer technical support to development teams through mentoring and code review guidelines, establishing the architectural vision as a reference.

• Oversee projects from start to finish, serving as the technical focal point alongside project managers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure the delivered solution aligns with the original design.

• Recognize technical debt and architectural risks, proposing actionable improvement roadmaps.

• Maintain clear documentation of technical decisions and standards in an organized and accessible manner for the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A graduate degree or specialization in Cloud Computing, Database Systems, Software Architecture/Engineering, or related fields.

• Extensive experience in software development and/or solution architecture, demonstrating the ability to contribute to building the designed solutions.

• Capability to guide a solution from design to implementation, steering technical teams through all necessary aspects until production.

• Experience in providing technical support to development teams.

• Proven track record of overseeing projects and serving as a technical knowledge reference for multidisciplinary teams.

• Practical experience with the application of AI in both solution design and development.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey architectural decisions to various audiences.

• Self-starter with a proactive attitude and a strong sense of ownership over challenges throughout the entire solution lifecycle.

• Prior experience in solution architecture, software architecture, or technical lead roles, along with hands-on experience (preferred).

• Familiarity with integrating LLMs/generative AI from conception through development (preferred).

• Experience in environments managing multiple simultaneous projects (preferred).

• Relevant technical certifications (cloud, architecture, security, etc.) (preferred).

• Knowledge of DevOps and observability practices (preferred).

• Background in research, education, or network infrastructure/telecommunications organizations (preferred).
