IT Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the organization's cybersecurity initiatives, encompassing security strategy, execution, and continuous management.

• Formulate and sustain Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery strategies.

• Develop and implement information security policies, standards, and industry best practices.

• Supervise and assess security tools, controls, and overall security status.

• Collaborate with IT teams and business executives to enhance security awareness and mitigate organizational risks.

• Organize vulnerability assessments, audits, and corrective actions.

• Keep security documentation, risk registers, and an ongoing security roadmap up to date.

• Provide training for employees on security awareness.

• Execute regular evaluations of disaster recovery and business continuity protocols.

• Suggest enhancements based on evolving threats and industry standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or a related discipline.

• Solid comprehension of security frameworks, risk management, and compliance issues.

• Experience with developing business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

• Proficient in conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management capabilities.

• Preferred: At least 7 years of experience in information security.

• Preferred: Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a similar field.

• Preferred: Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
