This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee feature-level test planning that aligns with both business and technical requirements.
• Create and sustain test strategies, scenarios, and test cases.
• Early identification of testing risks, dependencies, and gaps during the development process.
• Conduct and facilitate peer reviews for test artifacts.
• Offer guidance and constructive feedback to QA team members.
• Ensure compliance with QA standards, methodologies, and documentation practices.
• Execute functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Manage the identification, documentation, tracking, and validation of defects.
• Validate fixes for defects and readiness for production deployment.
• Serve as the primary QA representative for designated functional teams.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers.
• Participate in planning ceremonies, backlog refinement, and release discussions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Proficiency in test planning, design, and execution.
• Experience in conducting peer reviews and mentoring junior testers.
• Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools, including Azure DevOps and JIRA.
• Exposure to test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to successfully pass required background screening.
