This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
β’ Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
β’ Lead, supervise, and guide project engineers on the team β serve as a people manager by offering coaching, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
β’ Take ownership of departmental success β comprehend profitability metrics, resource distribution, and the overall impact of projects on MSP growth.
β’ Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding project-related communications, delivering timely updates and addressing issues throughout the project lifecycle.
β’ Supervise technical resources to ensure tasks are executed according to the project plan.
β’ Guarantee project documentation is accurate, including project plans, schedules, budgets, change orders, and closure documents.
β’ Proactively identify, track, and address potential risks.
β’ Manage changes to the project scope by enforcing a formal change control process to prevent scope creep and ensure alignment with business goals.
β’ Oversee project development from initiation to completion, ensuring that projects achieve desired outcomes and meet client satisfaction.
β’ Facilitate meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders to communicate project status and resolve any issues or obstacles.
β’ Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and clear communication among staff, clients, and vendors.
β’ Assess and provide feedback on non-technical project hour estimates.
β’ Conduct post-project evaluations to encourage continuous improvement and share insights with the team.
β’ π A Bachelorβs degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline β or equivalent practical experience.
β’ At least 4 years of project management experience within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) context (required).
β’ Proven experience collaborating directly with clients, vendors, and internal technical teams in a dynamic service environment.
β’ Demonstrated capability to manage multiple IT projects concurrently, coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve successful outcomes.
β’ PMP certification is preferred (or other relevant project management certifications).
β’ π οΈ A strong grasp of IT principles, infrastructure, and managed services, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to clients.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
β’ Hands-on experience with PSA and project management tools such as ConnectWise Manage, Autotask, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
β’ Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and best practices.
β’ β Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
β’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-oriented approach.
β’ A proactive problem-solver capable of identifying risks early and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
β’ Detail-oriented and dedicated to accuracy and follow-through.
β’ Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
β’ π° Salary Range: $90,000β$110,000/year.
β’ π― Quarterly bonus eligibility: Earn up to 4% each quarter by meeting departmental KPIs and metrics.
