This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Define and establish the requirements for project planning.
• Create schedules and budgets to fulfill contractual and project obligations.
• Monitor and report on performance relative to plans to ensure that contractual, cost, and scheduling goals are achieved.
• Provide reports on program-level scheduling and quality compliance with agreed standards.
• Identify and address project risks and issues; formulate solutions to achieve productivity, quality, and client satisfaction objectives.
• Ensure adherence to the standard policies, procedures, and guidelines of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Apply industry best practices, techniques, and standards in the field of project management.
• Collaborate with a Program Management Office team that serves a major state and local government client.
• Proven experience in managing projects and scheduling.
• Experience with state and local government clients is highly beneficial.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Previous experience working in or supporting a Program Management Office (PMO).
• Extensive experience supervising Project Analysts, aiding in project scheduling, and managing projects.
• Significant experience in developing risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Previous experience in Supplier Management.
• Experience working within IT Service Management (ITSM).
• Prior experience with ServiceNow.
• Experience in developing Operational Level Agreements (OLAs), governance, policy, and procedures.
• Bachelor's degree with ten (10) years or more of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with eight (8) years or more of relevant experience.
• PMP Certification is required.
• ITIL Certification is preferred.
• CSM Certification is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, MS Visio, SharePoint, and Adobe Products.
• Proficient in MS Project Professional or Standard; MS Project Online is preferred.
• Prior experience using the ServiceNow project scheduling functionality is preferred.
• Previous experience working with or for a Commonwealth of Virginia Agency or VITA is desirable.
