This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Lead strategic IT infrastructure initiatives from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with technical teams to establish scope, requirements, and solutions.
• Create and oversee project plans, budgets, and timelines.
• Facilitate communication with stakeholders and prepare executive reports.
• Monitor project progress and enforce governance throughout all phases.
• Proactively address risks, issues, and change requests.
• Coordinate with both internal and external partners to ensure alignment.
• Drive successful outcomes in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
• Ensure adherence to relevant external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Over 15 years of experience in formal IT infrastructure project management (PMO).
• Demonstrated success in delivering IT projects within a matrixed organization.
• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of Waterfall methodologies combined with Agile execution capabilities.
• PMP Certification is mandatory.
• Experience in network and industrial construction is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Candidate must possess work authorization that allows them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.

• Candidate must reside in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone in the United States.
