This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +2 more countries.
• Oversee and assist in the implementation of Global Information Security and Infrastructure initiatives.
• Act as the primary contact for project tracking, reporting, and daily coordination across various simultaneous workstreams.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, manage JIRA backlogs, and ensure progress towards project milestones.
• Develop project tracking systems, RAID logs, and manage dependencies across teams.
• Create project plans, milestone timelines, and team roles.
• Organize program and governance meetings; document meeting minutes, decisions, action items, and issues.
• Generate status reports detailing scope, objectives, milestones, budget, risks, change requests, and critical issues.
• Assist in creating reporting dashboards and consolidating data for portfolio visibility.
• Collect, analyze, and document both business and technical requirements.
• Convert business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Align business requirements with technical capabilities, identifying constraints and dependencies.
• Maintain system documentation and ensure requirements traceability.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and establish reporting and dashboard requirements.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing validation efforts.
• Support audit and compliance readiness across GIS and Infrastructure workstreams.
• Collaborate with project managers, business owners, sponsors, legal teams, security, data protection teams, system users, vendors, and consultants.
• 3–6 years of experience in project management and business analysis within IT or technology-focused environments.
• Proven success in leading intricate, multi-stakeholder projects that involve substantial technology components and/or producing high-quality Business Analyst documentation and analytical reports.
• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• Practical experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum, sprint planning, backlog management, and retrospectives.
• Proficient in project management tools such as Jira, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
• Strong familiarity with GIS/Infrastructure concepts, including Security Engineering, Security Operations, IAM, GRC, and data privacy is highly preferred.
• Capability to engage effectively with technical teams while simplifying complex information for non-technical stakeholders.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Skill in influencing without direct authority and managing alignment among senior stakeholders.
• Quick adaptability in dynamic and unclear environments.
• Capacity to build relationships across both technical and non-technical teams, functions, and global locations.
• Experience in matrixed environments without direct authority over contributors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• PMP, CSM, or equivalent project/program management certification is preferred.
• Experience with GIS/Infrastructure projects is strongly desired.
• Background in international NGOs or global humanitarian organizations is preferred.
• Right to work in Kenya, Colombia, or Nigeria.
• Availability for consistent overlap with U.S. Eastern Time from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
