IT Procurement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Creates strategic roadmaps for sourcing and procurement operations.

• Establishes requirements and oversees electronic catalogs and demand planning systems.

• Works collaboratively with IT and other internal teams on ERP systems.

• Oversees substantial projects or processes with minimal supervision.

• Mentors, evaluates, and assigns tasks to junior professionals.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 years of experience in negotiating with IT vendors.

• Proven success in negotiating large, intricate IT software agreements.

• Experience with hyperscale providers and major software, hardware, and cybersecurity firms.

• Strong knowledge of procurement regulations.

• Demonstrated capability to lead sourcing projects.

• Exceptional negotiation, supplier management, and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and AI tools; experience with eSourcing tools is advantageous.
