This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Serve as the primary contact for all service desk inquiries, delivering prompt and effective assistance to end users.
• Diagnose and address a variety of hardware, software, and network challenges.
• Carefully document resolutions to support cases and known issues for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Engage in system monitoring and incident management activities.
• Configure and support VMware, IP networks, as well as client and server hardware.
• Keep an accurate inventory of IT assets.
• Contribute to extended service desk coverage.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• Basic experience in managing IT support and service request tickets promptly, ideally in a production environment utilizing Microsoft 365; we use ServiceNow.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft data center and client management services.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
• Willingness and capability to travel occasionally.
