IT Operations Consultant, IT Specialist (Full-Time/Part-Time)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage IT infrastructure and production IT systems across multiple sites.

• Take charge of planning, executing, and managing system migrations, encompassing hardware, software, and networks.

• Integrate and oversee both software applications and hardware components.

• Execute data integration and migration tasks.

• Collaborate with both external IT service providers and internal teams.

• Provide support to locations with general IT inquiries and resolve issues.

• Automate processes to enhance efficiency.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to ensure the reliable operation of IT systems.

• Respond promptly to alerts, errors, and emergencies within production environments.

• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement solutions to problems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist or possess an equivalent qualification.

• Several years of relevant IT experience, including the independent management of migration projects.

• Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure support and administration, covering clients, servers, and networks.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure AD, and Windows environments.

• Proficiency in LAN, WLAN, VPN, and VLAN; Meraki experience is advantageous.

• Experience working within Citrix environments.

• Understanding of IT security requirements, such as MFA, endpoint protection, and ITIL.

• Ability to analyze diverse IT environments and transition them to standardized frameworks.

• Experience in 1st- and 2nd-level user support, as well as familiarity with ticketing systems and documentation practices.

• Exceptional communication skills and a strong drive for professional growth.

• Willingness to travel extensively across Germany.

• Proficient in both written and spoken German and English.

• Background in the metering services or property management sector is a plus.
