IT Infrastructure Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tunisia.

📋 Description

• Enhance the digital reliability of the core backend architecture.

• Report directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO).

• Lead, mentor, and oversee execution across Systems (Cloud First) and Network Architecture.

• Migrate and manage legacy infrastructure to automated, software-defined environments in AWS, Azure, or GCP using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Manage, secure, and optimize global corporate and cloud networking architectures.

• Collaborate with local IT departments throughout EMEA to standardize technology stacks and infrastructure protocols.

• Aim for 99.9%+ availability for critical backend systems.

• Oversee major Incident, Problem, and Change management workflows for the infrastructure layer.

• Handle the I&O budget utilizing FinOps methodologies.

• Optimize cloud consumption and the procurement of backend hardware.

• Maintain, test, and refine Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans for both cloud and hybrid environments.

• Collaborate with the CISO to integrate DevSecOps security into backend systems.

• Ensure compliance with GDPR, NIS2, and other European regulatory requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure.

• A minimum of 3+ years managing specialized backend operational teams (Network, Cloud Systems) in an international environment.

• Strong technical knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Profound understanding of SD-WAN, SASE, VPNs, firewalls, switches, and routers.

• Practical knowledge of DevOps principles in relation to ITIL v4.

• ITIL v3 Foundation certification is required.

• Highly operational and pragmatic approach.

• Strong financial acumen and hands-on experience in FinOps and backend procurement.

• Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
