IT Hardware Procurement Manager – AI/HPC Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete sourcing process for high-performance compute (HPC) and sovereign AI cloud platforms.

• Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with Tier 1/2 OEMs and regional distributors for high-density servers, networking equipment, and cabling solutions.

• Lead the entire contract lifecycle, including Master Purchase Agreements (MPAs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and complex warranty/support negotiations.

• Keep track of global semiconductor trends to minimize risks associated with long lead times.

• Collaborate with Systems Engineering and Architecture teams to convert technical specifications into scalable, long-term procurement strategies.

• Manage the procurement and delivery of integrated components, such as NVIDIA Grace CPUs, NVLink, InfiniBand, and ConnectX-8.

• Design procurement workflows that comply with rigorous security, data residency, and national compliance standards for Sovereign AI cloud implementations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical STEM discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in high-performance computing (HPC) or hyperscale datacenter procurement settings.

• Extensive knowledge of NVIDIA reference architectures and familiarity with Dell/HP hardware.

• Fundamental understanding of the hardware-software stack, encompassing operating systems, device drivers, and firmware versioning.

• Capability to connect technical engineering requirements with executive-level financial and commercial constraints.
