IT Engineering Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• You will collaborate closely with the Security and Operations teams to ensure the security of our endpoints, offices, networks, and SaaS tools, while enabling optimal productivity with our tools.

• You will lead the IT Engineering team, balancing hands-on technical tasks with mentoring, project planning, and recruitment.

• This role is technical in nature and comes with leadership responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in leading or mentoring an IT Engineering or Technical Operations team, which includes project planning and recruitment.

• A strong hands-on background in IT Engineering, Technical Operations, or a role related to DevOps, characterized by an automation-first mindset and experience in managing enterprise-scale IT systems.

• In-depth knowledge of identity and access management technologies (SAML, SCIM, OIDC) along with proficiency in tools like Okta and Google Workspace.

• Expertise in Mobile Device Management tools (e.g., Jamf, Kandji, Fleet) across a range of devices.

• Scripting capabilities (Python, Bash, or similar) with a proven history of automating compliance checks, device configuration, and other IT security activities.

• Experience in managing office network equipment (e.g., Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti), including overseeing office buildouts.

• Demonstrated ability to uphold compliance with SOC 2 / ISO 27001 (or similar) standards, coupled with a friendly, user-centered approach.

• Previous experience in a high-growth or startup environment.
