This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee the IT business analysis function, directing and evaluating the operations of our external Managed Service Provider (MSP).
• Serve as the essential connection between internal business units and the MSP, converting intricate business needs into implementable technical specifications.
• Supervise the MSP’s project execution, manage the project backlog, and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Act as the main point of contact for the MSP, managing their daily activities, project execution, and SLA adherence.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define, analyze, and document business processes and requirements.
• Manage the IT project portfolio and backlog, prioritizing requests to ensure timely and within-scope delivery by the MSP.
• Monitor and report on MSP performance metrics, conducting regular evaluations to pinpoint areas needing improvement.
• Oversee the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align IT strategy with organizational objectives.
• Mediate conflicts between internal business units and the MSP.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with project delivery, vendor performance, and cybersecurity.
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and at least 7 years of related experience.
• In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of pertinent experience is required.
• Over 5 years of experience in IT business analysis, including 2-3 years in a management or leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience managing or collaborating closely with an external Managed Service Provider (MSP).
• Strong comprehension of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), IT infrastructure, and data modeling.
• Expertise in drafting business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, and process flow diagrams.
• Exceptional skill in converting technical concepts into business language for stakeholders and negotiating with vendors.
• Proficient in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project) and requirement management software.
• Certification as a CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional).
