Enterprise SAP BTP Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will design, oversee, and manage the comprehensive technical architecture of cloud and hybrid solutions leveraging the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

• You will provide guidance to our clients in the energy and municipal utility sectors on decoupling legacy systems and spearhead the transition towards future-ready side-by-side extensions on the BTP.

• You will create intricate integration scenarios between SAP S/4HANA Utilities, cloud models, and external systems, utilizing the SAP Integration Suite extensively.

• You will establish enterprise-wide development, security, and architectural guidelines for the BTP and ensure their application across both onshore and nearshore teams.

• You will serve as the technical expert, supporting large-scale projects from feasibility studies to go-live, while directing the technical implementation executed by nearshore development teams.

• You will consistently assess the latest SAP cloud technologies and integrate forward-thinking strategies into our offerings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of robust experience in the technical conception, design, and orchestration of complex SAP system landscapes, particularly with a focus on SAP BTP.

• Deep understanding of BTP architecture principles along with contemporary development frameworks, including the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) and the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).

• Proven expertise with the SAP Integration Suite (CPI), managing OData/REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and modern security protocols (OAuth, SAML).

• Excellent grasp of modern software architecture, Clean Core principles, cloud security, and performance enhancement.

• Experience in leading and managing distributed, interdisciplinary project and nearshore teams, exhibiting a well-developed strategic and solution-oriented mindset.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills aimed at management and C-level audiences, along with a passion for client consulting, fluency in business German, and proficient English skills.
