IT Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership in intricate customer projects.

• Evaluate customer needs and IT infrastructures.

• Design architectures and concepts centered on UCS and Nubus for Kubernetes.

• Facilitate workshops and customer meetings, offering guidance on technical choices.

• Execute installations, configurations, and integrations, including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, or OX.

• Assist in implementation and ensure solutions align with agreed-upon requirements.

• Analyze feasibility, effort, and risks, incorporating them into proposals.

• Develop viable solution outlines for presales initiatives.

• Provide insights from projects to inform product management and development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Multiple years of experience in technically intricate customer projects, preferably as a Consultant, Technical Lead, Systems Engineer, or Solution Architect.

• Exceptional listening and questioning abilities, capable of identifying customer needs beyond the initial request.

• Proficient in administering Linux servers.

• Strong understanding of networking, DNS, Active Directory, LDAP, containerization with Docker, APIs, and single sign-on.

• Conceptual grasp of identity and access management, user lifecycle management, authentication, and authorization methods such as SAML, OIDC, OAuth, and Kerberos.

• Ability to clearly structure requirements and present technical concepts understandably to various audiences.

• Willingness to assume responsibility and work autonomously.

• Strong consulting skills coupled with technical expertise.

• Proficient in German and very good in English.

• Kubernetes knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Experience with Keycloak, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), or ADFS is preferred.

• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools, such as GitLab CI, is advantageous.

• Experience in effort estimation and proposal processes is preferred.

• Background in the public sector or education sector is desirable.

• Enthusiasm for developing expertise in IAM, UCS, and Nubus for Kubernetes.
