IT Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate IT environments to pinpoint areas for enhancement and optimization.

• Recognize and resolve specific or specialized IT issues while working towards solutions.

• Formulate and/or execute technology strategies that align with business goals.

• Provide guidance on software, hardware, and network solutions to boost operational efficiency.

• Assist in the integration, configuration, and deployment of IT systems and applications.

• Ensure system security, maintain data integrity, and adhere to industry compliance standards.

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to establish project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and suggest suitable innovations.

• Handle, safeguard, and disclose patients’ protected health information strictly in line with HIPAA guidelines.

• Comprehend and follow Information Security and HIPAA protocols and procedures.

• Restrict access to protected health information to the minimum necessary for carrying out assigned responsibilities.

• Execute additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Demonstrable experience in IT consulting, systems administration, or a comparable technical position.

• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, networking, and cybersecurity.

• Capability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with diverse teams.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong interpersonal abilities with effective communication skills across all organizational levels.

• Exceptional problem-solving and creative thinking skills.

• Capacity to exercise good judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely information.

• High integrity and reliability with a pronounced sense of urgency and results-driven mindset.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Must own a smartphone or electronic device capable of downloading applications for multifactor authentication and security purposes.

• Ability to follow instructions, work collaboratively, manage stress, and meet the physical demands outlined.
