IT Commissions Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• The Commissions Specialist is accountable for the configuration and development across various Commissions and Incentive systems, including Varicent, SAP Commissions (Callidus), or CaptivatelQ, focusing on calculation streams, data management, reporting, ETLs, and supporting our client’s incentive compensation plans.

• Collaborates with other skilled developers who possess knowledge in SOL and relational databases.

• Requires proficiency in SSRS.

• Aids in training users on reporting tools and data analysis.

• Designs and adjusts incentive plans and components within the various platforms utilized for commissions and SOL Server.

• Ensures adherence to change controls, compliance, risk management, and business continuity practices for Incentive systems.

• Leads the assessment of current systems and procedures to pinpoint deficiencies and enhance data handling, conversion, input/output needs, and storage capabilities.

• Reviews analyses, development, and modifications to existing system logic challenges and documentation as needed.

• Acts as the main liaison to business partners (internal and/or external) throughout coding and implementation to guarantee accurate execution of incentive plans in the commissions tool.

• Collaborates with internal and external customers, including cross-functional teams, to collect specifications for data and reporting requirements.

• Establishes and implements a data integrity and consistency plan for regular monitoring of data across multiple platforms.

• Develops SOL queries to extract, manipulate, and/or calculate information to meet data and reporting specifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of database experience and/or direct report writing with SOL Server.

• In-depth knowledge and experience with SQL queries.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Capability to manage and manipulate large datasets.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to foster collaborative relationships.

• Competence in delivering presentations to clients.

• Proficient in English: Advanced 80% - 90%.

• Preferred experience in some or all of the following areas:

• Familiarity with the Varicent ICM product.

• Experience with SAP Commissions (Callidus).

• Experience utilizing JIRA.

• Experience with Bitbucket.

• Knowledge in one or more of the following: Hana, Crystal Reports, Tableau, Power BI, and Excel.

• Experience with unit testing frameworks.

• Exceptional analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving capabilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.

• Oriented towards teamwork.
