This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee daily technology operations for Rently staff.
• Provide hands-on deskside assistance and manage onboarding, offboarding, access, and licensing for approximately Rently US employees.
• Collaborate with IT teams in India and China, who manage their respective regions.
• Manage the Halo ITSM ticket queue, track trends, prioritize tasks, and resolve issues.
• Act as the escalation point beyond AI-assisted first-tier support.
• Enhance support runbooks and automate processes.
• Administer Google Workspace, JumpCloud single sign-on, SentinelOne, and both Mac and Windows endpoints.
• Oversee office and conference-room technology.
• Direct Salesforce and NetSuite administration through platform specialists.
• Handle intake for system requests and assess business impact and ROI.
• Suggest Salesforce, NetSuite, or tailored internal applications to meet business requirements.
• Prioritize administrator queues and ensure a smooth data flow between CRM and ERP systems.
• Manage vendor relationships, conduct contract reviews, oversee renewals, track license usage, and control system expenditures.
• Enforce the company's AI governance policy and maintain controls over approved tools.
• Contribute to the development of AI governance policy alongside the Director of Operations.
• Support SOC 2 and ISO 27001 / ISO 27701 compliance initiatives.
• Report directly to the Senior Director of Operations.
• At least 4 years of experience in IT or end-user support, including time in a managerial or team lead position.
• Strong technical skills with direct experience in resolving deskside support and endpoint issues without delegation.
• Experience managing the SaaS stack at a cloud-first organization that operates without a traditional data center.
• Proven experience administering Google Workspace and identity/SSO solutions (JumpCloud, Okta, or similar).
• Ability to analyze request ROI, justify trade-off decisions, and scale back or reject low-value projects with clear, data-driven reasoning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills that connect technical constraints with business needs.
• Practical, hands-on experience with AI in your work, including diagnosing, automating, or building.
• Comfort in creating lightweight internal applications or dashboards using AI tools, or a strong desire to learn.
• Experience collaborating with Finance, Sales, or Customer Support on changes in CRM, ERP, or billing processes.
• Ability to assess platform requests by distinguishing between surface-level configurations and core system architecture decisions.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and NetSuite from a managerial perspective, and awareness of iPaaS/middleware tools such as Celigo.
• Exposure to SOC 2 or ISO 27001 standards, or involvement in an SSO or migration project that you led from start to finish.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; Rently US does not offer sponsorship.
