IT Business Solutions Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Assist in integrated projects and strategic initiatives by collaborating with HonorHealth stakeholders and the Information Technology department.

• Identify key stakeholders and facilitate discussions to understand and articulate operational requirements.

• Lead research efforts, data collection, documentation, and analysis of business needs, translating them into suggested solutions.

• Work with cross-functional stakeholders and external entities to outline requirements and devise innovative solutions.

• Conduct discovery sessions, define project scope, create project charters, and review them with relevant stakeholders.

• Adhere to the IT project intake process and produce professional project documentation utilizing IT project management tools.

• Develop workflows for current and future states while identifying build requirements.

• Coordinate application teams and customer service lines to propose workflows, designs, and technical solutions for new products, services, enhancements, site/unit constructions, and relocations.

• Foster effective communication with business, vendor, and IT partners.

• Assess potential ROI and recommend financially responsible solutions that align with organizational goals.

• Comprehend system build impacts, suggest alternative strategies, and propose solutions.

• Provide consultation on system testing and assist in developing user acceptance test plans and operational customer testing.

• Review vendor and third-party solutions and participate in proposal evaluations and vendor assessments.

• Organize stakeholder meetings to prioritize requirements, establish expectations, and review new functionalities/designs.

• Anticipate challenges and offer solutions or recommendations.

• Lead project or program initiatives utilizing project management techniques to plan, monitor, manage, and report on implementation status.

• Support work plans, task allocations, and resource coordination.

• Assess projects throughout the delivery lifecycle for precision and consistency.

• Drive results by delivering best-practice workflows, promoting adoption, ensuring platform utilization, and standardizing the network.

• Advise on and ensure adherence to change management protocols for testing, documenting, and communicating system modifications.

• Comply with HonorHealth policies and procedures while performing other assigned duties.

⛳️ Requirements

• Required healthcare IT experience.

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in Healthcare, Business, Information Systems (IS), Computer Science, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Project Manager, Application Analyst, or similar positions.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience is mandatory.

• Additional relevant experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Professional Business Analysis Certification (IIBA, PMP) is preferred.

• Six Sigma or Lean certification is preferred.

• Epic Certification is preferred.

• ITIL/SRE certification is preferred.

• Strong ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a matrix resource environment.

• Proficient in facilitating meetings and collaborating with stakeholders, vendors, customers, and consultants.

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
