This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct systems analysis while providing support and guidance to end-users for company applications and administrative systems.
• Act as a liaison among internal business personnel, IT technical teams, and vendors to assess business needs and implement system solutions.
• Collect, research, analyze, and confirm business requirements, objectives, and opportunities.
• Communicate requirements to development teams through specifications, statements of work, project plans, and other documentation.
• Convert business requirements into IT-based solutions.
• Coordinate development tasks and system configuration with vendors, IT developers, architects, and technical experts.
• Test system configurations, performance, functionality, processes, and user acceptance.
• Offer end-user support and guidance regarding application functionality and capabilities.
• Conduct root cause analysis and propose solutions for application and systems issues.
• Escalate and resolve complex problems while delivering system enhancements.
• Manage project activities, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
• Maintain project documentation and provide status updates.
• Create user documentation and training materials while facilitating training sessions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience for the Business Systems Analyst II position.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, equivalent work experience, or demonstrated competence for the Senior Business Systems Analyst role.
• 2–4 years of programming, systems analysis, or business analysis experience for Business Systems Analyst II.
• 4–6 years of programming, systems analysis, or business analysis experience for the Senior Business Systems Analyst position.
• Strong knowledge of business systems analysis tools, processes, methodologies, and standards for gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements.
• Understanding of application design and system configuration.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies.
• Basic SQL knowledge for data extraction, analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with effective meeting facilitation abilities.
• Capability to convey complex and detailed technical information.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to develop skills across various technical environments and comprehend business processes.
• Proficiency in building relationships and collaborating with internal partners and vendors.
• Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
• Preferred qualifications: LOMA courses; Master’s degree; experience in process mapping/documentation; analytical and problem-solving experience; enterprise application configuration; insurance knowledge; programming or SQL experience.
