IT Business Analyst, Oracle Fusion

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Act as a key contributor to the design, development, integration, maintenance, and enhancement of the company's financial systems.

• Lead small projects or subprojects, collaborating with team members to ensure timely product delivery.

• Assist in integrating financial systems for newly acquired businesses.

• Aid in the implementation of Fusion and related applications/bolt-ons for existing Avery Dennison businesses.

• Oversee the integration of new business acquisitions into the Avery Dennison Financial & support model.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance existing applications utilizing standard programming languages and established development methodologies.

• Deliver expert analysis, design, development, and integration services for business applications within assigned projects.

• Ensure compliance with Avery Dennison's controls (SOX, Internal Audit, External Audit, etc.), policies, processes, and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent work experience and technical training, is mandatory.

• Five to ten years of experience in Oracle Financials modules support (resolving incidents and change requests) is required for Oracle Fusion & Oracle R12 Financials support.

• A decade of experience in Oracle business application design, integration, installation, upgrade, and modification, with at least 4-5 years focused on Fusion AP/AR/GL/FA/Cash/Cost management.

• Fusion certification is advantageous.

• A solid understanding of financial and accounting practices is desired, with accounting certification and experience in cost accounting being a plus.

• Experience and desired certification in the following areas: Oracle Fusion (Finance modules), SQL / SQR / Query Tool, eGate, MQ Series or other middleware, EDI, Advanced Excel / Advanced Google, and Incident Management Tools such as ServiceNow or similar technology.

• Financial accounting qualification or experience is essential, alongside a good understanding of finance accounting and ideally, cost accounting.

• Familiarity with Test Management Tools like HPQC or similar technology is required.

• Experience with Change Management Tools such as Flexdeploy or similar technology is necessary.
