ISSO Support Engineer – Continuous ATO Evidence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain the Risk Management Framework package for a health data exchange platform.

• Create SP 800-53 Rev. 5 control statements and ensure the eMASS package is up to date.

• Oversee POA&Ms from identification to resolution in collaboration with engineering teams.

• Streamline evidence collection using AWS Config and the platform's pipelines.

• Assist with assessments, inheritance decisions, and changes to authorization boundaries.

• Collaborate with the Government ISSO and security operations team to uphold continuous authorization.

• Maintain privileged access to authorization tools in accordance with program security policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in DoD RMF package work utilizing eMASS.

• DoD 8140 certification for the ISSO work role, or the capability to obtain it within six months.

• Practical experience in SP 800-53 Rev. 5 control authoring and POA&M management.

• U.S. citizenship is required.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 investigation and IT-II designation.

• Possession of privileged access to authorization tools in line with the program's security protocols.

• Active Secret clearance or eligibility for a Secret clearance (preferred but not mandatory).

• Experience in Continuous ATO or DevSecOps pipeline evidence (preferred but not mandatory).

• Familiarity with AWS GovCloud and AWS Config (preferred but not mandatory).

• Experience with DHA or health IT authorization (preferred but not mandatory).
