This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Provide prompt and precise responses to product and technical support inquiries from customers, sales and service staff, and internal personnel.

• Address incoming customer inquiries regarding irrigation via the Company's technical support phone lines and website, including requests for information on product performance and specifications.

• Aid in diagnosing product issues, offer guidance on product capabilities, and suggest appropriate replacement parts and repair methods.

• Document and classify incoming inquiries based on customer type, product type, and region, including necessary follow-ups.

• Support the Product Managers with special projects as assigned by the Technical Services Supervisor.

• Maintain regular communication with Product Managers, providing updates on product failures, technical insights, and product quality.

• Create and publish support articles on the website for Hunter products.


⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate’s degree in Landscape and Irrigation Design, Lighting Design, or equivalent education and experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role, along with experience in landscape irrigation, agriculture, landscape lighting, and/or wholesale distribution.

• Comprehensive knowledge of landscape and irrigation products within the industry.

• Familiarity with irrigation design and pumping system design.

• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude, including a working knowledge of Wi-Fi systems and basic electrical principles.

• Exceptional writing, listening, and customer relations abilities.

• Ability to adapt and remain flexible in a fast-paced work environment.

• Capacity to multitask and adhere to timelines.

• Proficient problem-solving skills, including analysis, planning, organization, decisiveness, decision-making, and sound judgment.

• Capability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with the Internet and Windows applications for word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.

• Willingness to travel domestically.

• Availability for overtime and/or weekend work as necessary.

• Outstanding attention to detail, time management, and organizational abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage with members throughout the organization.

• Irrigation Association certification and water auditor training are preferred.

• Familiarity with competitor products is a plus.

• Proficiency in a foreign language is advantageous.
