
IR & Electric Motor Testing Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.
• Perform Electric Motor and Power Quality Services.
• Gather and evaluate data on motors, motor circuits, and power quality.
• Execute Infrared Thermography inspections.
• Deliver comprehensive reports to customers detailing identified anomalies.
• Act as a self-starter and stay informed about current and future advancements in motor testing and power quality technology, as well as motor and motor circuit design, maintenance, and reliability.
• Establish relationships with potential clients to identify their requirements.
• Keep professional and technical knowledge up to date, including necessary certifications.
• Strong theoretical foundation in electrical theory.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an industrial electrician or technician, or equivalent military experience, along with Level II IR Certification.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in computer applications – Excel, Word documents, multimedia materials, and file & directory management.
• Capability to multi-task and thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Candidates must pass a drug screening and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
