This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Accurately and punctually report loan activity records to Investors.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations in line with investor specifications.
• Manage remittance schedules to guarantee timely fund delivery.
• Implement amortization schedules to loan data for accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand how servicing events affect reporting.
• Leverage internally developed systems and tools for root cause analysis.
• Utilize Excel (including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and essential formulas) along with Google Workspace tools to organize reporting data.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Investor Reporting within mortgage servicing.
• Demonstrated experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae, and private investors.
• Strong grasp of remittance types and loan amortization principles.
• General knowledge of mortgage servicing operations and departmental functions.
• Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, sum functions) and basic usage of Gmail and Google Workspace.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Finance, Accounting, or STEM) or 2-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance position preferred.
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Availability to participate in regularly scheduled in-person meetings for collaboration and communication.
