• Create investment programs and deal-making formats for the gaming conference that draw in international investors, publishers, and funds, setting a global benchmark for capital-meets-talent events.
• Establish and manage the gaming investor pipeline from the ground up, identifying gaming VCs, publisher venture divisions, sovereign funds with gaming mandates, angel networks, and accelerator programs, while executing targeted outreach.
• Oversee the investor application and vetting process, confirming fund credentials, alignment with investment theses, and genuine interest in engaging with gaming studios and founders.
• Design the content and structure for all gaming investment activities, including reverse pitches, hosted buyer programs, closed-door investor roundtables, and live deal-making showcases.
• Collaborate with the B2B Content Producer to ensure that the investment content track is credible, up-to-date, and attracts high-caliber participants.
• Craft the complete investor experience, including the investor lounge, curated sessions, concierge meetings, and exclusive programming that provides a premium atmosphere.
• Oversee the investor matchmaking process by coordinating with internal teams to ensure high match quality and deal relevance.
• Manage communications with investor delegates, matchmaking logistics, and on-site facilitation to ensure the program yields tangible outcomes rather than mere introductions.
• Monitor and report on the outcomes of the investment program: deals initiated, capital committed, and follow-up meetings generated.
• Support the investor program across other events in the Investor & Startup program portfolio by contributing investor relationships, outreach, and programming insights where sector knowledge is beneficial.
• Assist in investor outreach campaigns across portfolio events in collaboration with marketing and cross-functional teams.
• Provide coverage for senior team members during busy pre-event and on-site periods related to the investor program.
• Keep accurate and current records of investors in internal management tools, documenting fund details, investment theses, meeting histories, and post-event feedback.
• Track KPIs for the investor program across assigned events, including investor count, AUM represented, meetings held, investment signals generated, and investor NPS.
• Conduct post-event debriefs with investors, gather feedback, and share suggestions for improvements with the program lead.
• Maintain and cultivate investor relationships throughout the year, ensuring that warm connections continue into future editions.
• Generate innovative ideas for value-driven investor program features and lead the development of concept notes for future events.
• 4–5 years of experience in investor relations, investor program management, or VC/LP engagement, ideally within an event, ecosystem, or gaming industry setting.
• Proven expertise in the gaming investment landscape, including VCs, publisher venture arms, sovereign funds with gaming mandates, and angel networks.
• Demonstrated experience in curating and managing high-touch investor experiences, focusing on genuine engagement beyond just registration and logistics.
• Strong existing network within the gaming and tech investment communities, particularly in MENA, APAC, or Europe.
• Understanding of the gaming investment chain from pre-seed accelerators to sovereign capital deployment.
• Knowledge in sectors such as cybersecurity, fintech, or other technological domains is advantageous for cross-portfolio event support.
• Excellent relationship management abilities, capable of handling senior investor relationships with professionalism and discretion.
• Comfortable multitasking across various simultaneous events with diverse investors, geographies, and sector focuses.
• Familiarity with investor management platforms, CRM tools, and event management systems.
• Strong written English skills are essential; proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
• We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and circumstances, making hiring decisions based on relevant qualifications and merit.
• We take pride in offering a disability-friendly environment.
