Investment Banking – Private Equity Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive financial models from the ground up, encompassing LBOs, DCFs, operational frameworks, and analyses driven by transactions.

• Assess, enhance, and verify AI-generated financial reasoning, ensuring precision, logical consistency, and outputs of professional caliber.

• Analyze deal-related scenarios, prompts, and deliverables, enhancing clarity, depth, and analytical rigor.

• Work collaboratively in an asynchronous manner with research teams to improve the performance of AI models and reflect real-world financial dynamics.

• Provide structured, transparent, and audit-ready financial analyses that meet the standards upheld by leading banking and private equity firms.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2+ years of direct, on-desk experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity at a prestigious firm (Academic experience is not considered).

• Demonstrated success in transaction execution, deal modeling, valuation, and financial analysis.

• Established capability to independently construct models and clearly communicate underlying assumptions.

• Exceptional written communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in reviewing technical financial documentation.

• Availability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week, working fully remotely and asynchronously.
