Investment Banking, Private Equity Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive financial models from the ground up, including LBOs, DCFs, operational models, and analyses driven by transactions.

• Assess, enhance, and verify AI-generated financial reasoning to ensure precision, logical consistency, and outputs of professional quality.

• Analyze deal-related scenarios, prompts, and deliverables, enhancing clarity, depth, and the quality of analysis.

• Work collaboratively in an asynchronous manner with research teams to improve AI model functionality and the realism of financial scenarios.

• Provide well-structured, transparent, and audit-ready financial analyses that meet the standards prevalent in leading banking and private equity firms.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2+ years of relevant, on-desk experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity at a prestigious firm (Academic experience is excluded).

• A strong history of transaction execution, deal modeling, valuation, and financial analysis.

• Demonstrated capability to independently construct models and clearly articulate underlying assumptions.

• Exceptional written communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to review technical financial documents.

• Willingness to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week, working fully remotely and asynchronously.
