Investment Banking Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the comprehensive execution of client transactions, encompassing M&A and capital-raising activities.

• Create pitchbooks, transaction overviews, financial analyses, and ancillary documentation.

• Design sell-side pitch materials that emphasize strategic opportunities and value propositions.

• Develop slides and presentation materials for client engagements.

• Conduct research on industry trends, market dynamics, valuation metrics, and competitive landscapes.

• Collect financial data and assist in the execution of M&A transactions, IPOs, private equity arrangements, and other advisory services.

• Support senior bankers in business development efforts and identify potential client engagement opportunities.

• Coordinate projects and enhance communication among clients, advisory teams, and internal stakeholders.

• Aid senior bankers in overseeing timelines, deliverables, and ensuring high-quality outputs within tight deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or corporate development.

• Prior involvement in M&A transactions or related internship experience is highly desirable.

• Proficient financial modeling capabilities in Excel.

• Strong PowerPoint skills for developing client-facing materials.

• Familiarity with financial databases and research tools (e.g., Capital IQ, PitchBook) is advantageous.

• Proficient/advanced English required (both written and verbal).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective project and time management abilities.

• Capability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Strong client service orientation and teamwork approach.

• CFA Level I candidate or higher preferred but not mandatory.
