Investment Banking Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Facilitate private capital transactions from start to finish, including initial company evaluations, investor outreach, due diligence, term sheet assessment, and closing activities.

• Concentrate on debt placement for growth-stage and lower-middle-market enterprises.

• Assist with private market secondaries and liquidity options.

• Develop and sustain financial models that encompass historical analyses, projections, liquidity forecasts, debt capacity assessments, and transaction scenarios.

• Evaluate financial statements, operating models, capitalization tables, debt schedules, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Create transaction and marketing documents, such as Confidential Information Memorandums (CIMs), lender presentations, executive summaries, and company profiles.

• Conduct research to align capital providers with the profiles of each company.

• Oversee virtual data rooms, due diligence request lists, process trackers, and closing checklists.

• Directly engage with clients during calls.

• Offer presentation support and marketing materials for Axis Group Ventures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in investment banking, private credit, commercial banking, corporate finance, lending, transaction advisory, private equity, venture capital, or financial analysis.

• Background in banking, lending, or corporate finance.

• Capability to manage private capital transactions from inception to completion.

• Proficient in building or reviewing financial models.

• Knowledge of credit analysis, debt structures, capitalization tables, or valuations of private companies.

• Familiarity with CRM systems, virtual data rooms, financial databases, or investor research tools.

• Insight into venture-backed, recurring-revenue, lower-middle-market companies, or specialty finance.

• Previous experience collaborating directly with senior executives, investors, lenders, or transaction professionals.

• Self-driven, capable of taking initiative and responsibility without constant supervision.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

• Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms, virtual data rooms, and financial databases.

• Series 7 and 63 licenses are preferred; sponsorship by Rainmaker Securities is required.

• Proficiency in English must be indicated on the application form.
