Investment Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive reviews and analyses of financial and commercial data for acquisition targets.

• Develop and deliver assessments regarding the initial compatibility of acquisition targets.

• Execute market research to gain insights into industry trends and identify new acquisition prospects.

• Locate software businesses that satisfy acquisition criteria and metrics, advancing opportunities through the deal cycle.

• Assist the M&A team with various tasks related to the closure of ongoing deals.

• Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams for data requests, information sharing, project meetings, and deal execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in one or more of the following domains: transaction advisory services, including Quality of Earnings and Quality of Revenue engagements; buy-side financial due diligence advisory; public accounting/external audit experience with technology or software firms; corporate development, FP&A, or finance roles within software or SaaS companies; revenue accounting and operations at software or SaaS firms; controllership/accounting operations at software or SaaS entities; business operations or strategic finance in software or SaaS industries.

• Extensive experience in analyzing and evaluating software and SaaS companies.

• Familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards and policies.

• Proven strong academic background from a top-tier institution.

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business discipline; CPA or CFA track is a notable advantage.

• Professional demeanor and capability to engage effectively with C-level executives.

• Willingness to work half of each day in accordance with the business hours of the North American office.

• Self-motivated individual with effective sales and communication abilities.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.

• Excellent analytical skills and expertise in Microsoft Suite, with meticulous attention to detail.
