Investment Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Perform an overview and analysis of commercial and financial data pertaining to acquisition targets.

• Develop and present evaluations regarding the initial alignment of acquisition targets.

• Conduct market research to comprehend industry trends and identify new acquisition prospects.

• Locate software businesses that fulfill acquisition criteria and metrics, guiding opportunities through the deal cycle.

• Assist the M&A team with various tasks related to finalizing active deals.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on data requests, information sharing, project team meetings, and deal execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 7 years of experience in transaction advisory services, buy-side financial due diligence advisory, public accounting/external audit with technology or software companies, corporate development, FP&A, or finance within software or SaaS businesses, revenue accounting and operations at software or SaaS companies, controllership/accounting operations at software or SaaS businesses, or business operations/strategic finance at software or SaaS businesses.

• Significant experience in analyzing and evaluating software and SaaS companies.

• Familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards and policies.

• Proven strong academic achievement from a prestigious institution.

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business discipline; CPA or CFA track is a notable advantage.

• Professional maturity and presence to engage effectively with C-level executives.

• Availability to work half of each day in accordance with the North American office's business hours.

• Self-motivated individual with excellent sales and communication skills.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.

• Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Suite, with a keen attention to detail.
