Investment Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and analyses of the commercial and financial data pertaining to acquisition targets.

• Develop and deliver assessments regarding the initial compatibility of acquisition targets.

• Engage in market research to gain insights into industry trends and identify new acquisition possibilities.

• Pinpoint software businesses that align with acquisition criteria and metrics, guiding opportunities through the deal lifecycle.

• Assist the M&A team with various ad hoc tasks related to finalizing active deals.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on data requests, sharing information, conducting project team meetings, and facilitating deal execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 7 years of experience in transaction advisory services, buy-side financial due diligence advisory, public accounting/external audit for technology or software companies, corporate development, FP&A, or finance roles in software or SaaS businesses, revenue accounting and operations in software or SaaS environments, controllership/accounting operations within software or SaaS companies, or business operations/strategic finance at software or SaaS organizations.

• Extensive experience in analyzing and assessing software and SaaS firms.

• Familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards and policies.

• Proven strong academic performance from a prestigious institution.

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business discipline.

• Possessing a CPA or CFA track is a considerable advantage.

• Professional maturity and presence to engage effectively with C-level executives.

• A self-motivated individual with excellent sales and communication abilities.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English.

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Suite, with meticulous attention to detail.
