Inventory Control Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Lead, manage, and develop associates involved in inventory control and oversee inventory accounting processes.

• Supervise inventory reconciliation, investigate variances, and manage cycle count programs.

• Collaborate with Finance departments regarding inventory closing requirements and reconciliations.

• Prepare accounting entries and review or approve general ledger reconciliations.

• Engage in company initiatives related to inventory control.

• Monitor metrics for inventory accuracy and ensure compliance with standards.

• Create and distribute inventory control reports for leadership and decision-making purposes.

• Conduct root-cause analysis and lead corrective action initiatives.

• Assist with audits and support system implementations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of progressive experience in Inventory Control, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Distribution, or similar fields.

• Required experience in inventory control leadership.

• Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel is necessary.

• Experience with Oracle Fusion and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred.
