This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +17 more states.
• Delivers both oral and written translation/interpretation services for service providers and clients.
• Adapts seamlessly between technical terminology and casual language.
• Identifies and respects dialectal variations in communication.
• Provides both literal translations and anecdotal interpretations.
• Upholds confidentiality standards.
• Facilitates precise translation and interpreting services in diverse environments between service providers and clients.
• Converts written materials into the language understood by the family and/or legal guardian.
• Assists families by enhancing communication with external service providers, healthcare professionals, social service agencies, and others.
• At least one (1) year of professional experience in translation/interpreting services in the specified language.
• Proficient in both written and spoken communication.
• Fluent in the formal and dialectical aspects of the designated language.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Familiarity with educational and medical terminology is preferred.
• Formal training or certification is preferred.
• A valid driver's license may be necessary.
