This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver precise consecutive interpretation services through phone and video between English and Karen.
• Support effective communication between healthcare providers and patients to ensure clear understanding and quality care.
• Proficiency in interpreting medical, customer service, social services, and financial calls.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Fluency in both English and Karen.
• Prior remote interpretation experience in both languages is essential.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Relevant certification in medical interpretation or a related discipline.
• Adherence to HIPAA compliance standards.
• Wired Ethernet connection (must connect directly to the router via cable); Wi-Fi is not permitted.
• A noise-canceling microphone and USB headset are required. Only the following brands are approved: Logitech H390, Jabra GN, Plantronics Blackwire C3220(Poly), and Microsoft Lifechat LX-6000.
• Browser: Must use the latest version of Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox.
• Processor: i5 or higher, 6th generation or newer.
• Camera: Minimum resolution of 1080p.
• Full-time availability for 5 days a week (with 2 days off).
• Compensation for each available hour (you will be paid whether you are on a call or not).
