This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Facilitate language interpretation between individuals facing communication barriers, enabling mutual understanding.

• Manage on-demand telephone or video calls, providing consecutive interpretation for conversations between English speakers.

• Process information swiftly and succinctly, acknowledging sensitive cultural nuances while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.

• Utilize relevant industry terminology and possess a solid grasp of standard industry procedures and practices.

• Interpret discussions covering topics in Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Finance, Utilities, Travel and Hospitality, 911 emergency services, Law Enforcement, Courts, and General Business.

• Capability to focus, remain detached from discussions, and consistently uphold neutrality and objectivity.

• Skill in quickly establishing personal credibility.

• Adherence to client instructions with precision.

• Ability to clarify specific cultural concepts to prevent miscommunication, with the client's permission or upon request.

• B2 CEFR English Level proficiency alongside other necessary languages.

• Capacity to work from home on a full-time basis.
