Internship

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Assist the production, post-production, digital, and brand marketing & audience development teams.

• Conduct research for production locations.

• Log footage for the editors of ANTIQUES ROADSHOW.

• Clean and verify transcript files against episodes for accuracy.

• Time out shows and lower thirds for delivery of the program.

• Support marketing and social media initiatives, including editing videos for social media platforms.

• Caption media files via YouTube.

• Upload media to the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW website using internal systems.

• Provide assistance with light photo and video editing tasks.

• Maintain administrative files and the unit database.

• Tasks are predominantly post-production focused during the Spring session, with opportunities to complete projects or shadow roles of interest.

• Strong organizational skills are essential.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.

• General proficiency with computers.

• Familiarity with major social media platforms.

• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and video editing software is beneficial.

• Experience in media production is advantageous but not mandatory.

• A strong interest in media production is required.

• Familiarity with Filemaker Pro is a plus.

• Knowledge of Slack is an added advantage.

• Candidates must possess their own computer and have access to WiFi.

• Candidates should be enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate program.

• Candidates must have work authorization for the United States.
