International Medical Biller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete revenue cycle process from patient registration to claims resolution.

• Submit and monitor medical claims to various insurance providers with precision.

• Conduct accounts receivable follow-up, identifying and addressing denied, underpaid, or unpaid claims through the analysis of claim specifics and payer policies.

• Engage with patients regarding billing questions, benefit explanations, and escalated issues.

• Work in partnership with clinical staff and operations teams to ensure precise and timely billing information.

• Utilize and maintain accurate data within practice management and electronic health record systems.

• Participate in special projects aimed at optimizing billing processes and enhancing departmental efficiency.

• Uphold strict confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

• Keep abreast of payer regulations, coding guidelines, and best practices in the telehealth industry.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of demonstrated experience in comprehensive medical billing and revenue cycle management.

• Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and empathetic approach to patient interactions.

• Proficient in productivity tools such as Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel for data tracking and analysis.

• Experience collaborating effectively within a remote team setting.

• Strong dedication to meeting and exceeding performance metrics (KPIs).

• Dependable high-speed internet connection.

• A dedicated, private workspace suitable for remote work.

• Familiarity with tools like Google Meet and Slack.

• Prior experience with Candid practice management software is preferred.

• Experience with the Elation Health EHR system is preferred.
