This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You are responsible for defining market entry strategies by determining where ESN can succeed in each market—across channels, key accounts, and categories—while tailoring the German playbook to local conditions.
• You curate the A-assortment by developing and sustaining a concentrated, impactful product portfolio that balances standout SKUs with the needs of local markets and retailers.
• You establish promotional guidelines by defining pricing, promotion depth, and trade investment to safeguard brand equity while facilitating commercial success.
• You create in-store activation playbooks by developing scalable, channel-specific toolkits that sales teams can implement seamlessly across various markets.
• You empower sales teams by converting strategy into clear, actionable resources such as sell-in presentations, assortment justifications, and promotional frameworks.
• You monitor and enhance performance by identifying relevant KPIs (e.g., distribution, sell-through, promotional ROI) and setting a clear review schedule across markets.
• You ensure brand consistency with Germany by serving as the primary liaison between the core DE team and international markets—translating strategy without reinventing it.
• You possess over 8 years of experience in key account management, category management, and trade marketing—preferably within sports nutrition, FMCG, or consumer health sectors.
• You have extensive KAM expertise with full accountability for major retail or wholesale accounts, including JBP negotiations and comprehensive trade term management.
• You are proficient in category management tools such as range reviews, planogram development, shopper insights, and space-to-sales optimization.
• You bring significant trade marketing experience in activation planning, promotional architecture, sell-in resources, and in-store execution.
• You have experience across multiple European markets and understand how to tailor strategies beyond a one-size-fits-all model.
• You are fluent in English, with German or another European language being a strong advantage.
