This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• Identifying, onboarding, and nurturing new commercial dealers within the Alarm.com partner program.
• Building strong relationships with key personnel within the account base and addressing challenges to ensure dealer success.
• Supporting commercial dealers in presenting to significant end-user opportunities.
• Initiating and carrying out on-site technical and sales training sessions for dealers.
• Cultivating partnerships within the industry and educating stakeholders about Alarm.com offerings to enhance dealer sales performance.
• Reporting to the Director of Business Development and collaborating with Technical Account Managers to pinpoint target dealers and streamline sales and support initiatives.
• Participating in industry association meetings and trade shows as required.
• Collaborating with various departments within the organization, including Sales Operations & Support, Sales Support & Training, Product Management, and Marketing.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales role is preferred.
• A motivated self-starter who is also a team player with a positive attitude and exceptional communication skills, always seeking solutions.
• Experience in the sales, installation, and support of commercial security products, particularly access control, alarm systems, and video surveillance.
• A proven track record of enhancing revenue, securing new accounts, and successfully expanding existing accounts.
• Capability to sell concepts and value-added services is essential.
• A successful background in client and account management along with business development.
• Highly driven, self-sufficient, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to meet significant travel demands, approximately 50-75% travel required.
• Proficiency in managing a large portfolio of accounts and prioritizing activities for maximum impact.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in client presentations and training delivery.
• Demonstrated dedication to providing top-quality customer service.
• A team player with a notably positive attitude and adaptability.
• Strong technical skills and a good aptitude for computers.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, small environment.
• Comfortable speaking in front of audiences.
• A background in the Security Industry, with knowledge of IT Communications, CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Alarms is highly valued.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in German, Dutch, or French is a plus.
