
International Account Manager – Cell Line Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +4 more states.
• Propel the international expansion of Nova's Solentim portfolio within key Biotech, Biopharma, CDMO, and academic sectors.
• Cultivate, oversee, and enhance client relationships in the Cell Line Development arena.
• Drive revenue growth through instruments, software, reagents, consumables, and service agreements.
• Identify, qualify, develop, advance, and finalize high-value sales opportunities within designated international regions and strategic accounts.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of accounts, comprehend customer workflows, map stakeholders, pinpoint pain points and growth targets, and position Solentim solutions effectively.
• Interact with scientific, technical, business, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, procurement, service, IT, and executive stakeholders.
• Implement territory planning, account mapping, opportunity creation, pipeline development, needs assessment, value-based selling, competitive positioning, negotiation, deal execution, forecasting, and Salesforce.com utilization.
• Enhance Solentim adoption in current and prospective accounts by replacing traditional, manual, fragmented, or competitive Cell Line Development methodologies.
• Broaden the installed base through cross-selling instruments, software, reagents, consumables, and service contracts.
• Collaborate with Field Application Scientists, Inside Sales Representatives, Product Management, Marketing, Service, Customer Service, and regional commercial teams.
• Evaluate customer workflows, prepare and conduct product demonstrations, address technical objections, support evaluations, and convey technology value.
• Provide market intelligence and customer feedback regarding customer needs, workflow challenges, competition, product performance, pricing, purchasing behavior, and opportunities for innovation.
• Represent Nova at customer meetings, scientific conferences, trade exhibitions, workshops, webinars, and industry events.
• Deliver scientific and commercial presentations, support customer advocacy, identify potential KOLs, and reinforce Solentim's market credibility.
• Manage intricate sales cycles, coordinate internal resources, and take ownership of quarterly and annual sales performance.
• Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong comprehension of Biotech/Biopharma customer environments and scientific workflows.
• Experience in Cell Line Development, Cell Culture, Bioprocessing, or Process Development is highly preferred.
• Proven sales record in Life Sciences, Biotech, Biopharma, scientific instrumentation, laboratory automation, reagents, consumables, software, and service solutions.
• Demonstrated capability to sell complex scientific and technical solutions in multi-stakeholder customer settings.
• Strong consultative selling abilities, including identifying customer needs, quantifying pain points, and positioning distinct value propositions.
• Proven track record in creating strategic account plans and managing international sales territories.
• Significant experience in managing pipeline, forecasts, customer data, and sales activities using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Field Application Scientists, Inside Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Service, and Customer Service teams.
• Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Capacity to prioritize high-value opportunities.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional European or international languages is advantageous.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively internationally, expected to be 50% to 75% of the time.
• Self-motivated, energetic, proactive, resilient, and highly accountable.
• Ability to work independently across international markets while collaborating with a cross-functional team.
• Capability to build long-lasting customer relationships based on trust, credibility, responsiveness, and understanding customer needs.
