Internal Consultant – Revenue Cycle

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Oversee processes and operations necessary for the introduction of new services, changes to service locations, and the integration of new technologies and equipment to guarantee a thorough and precise setup and implementation.

• Engage in research, training, and educational initiatives that support the project’s objectives.

• Address issues that do not jeopardize the project; propose recommended solutions.

• Maintain data integrity and ensure quality control measures are in place.

• Ensure that projects adhere to budget constraints.

• Perform other related responsibilities as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Business/Health Administration is necessary.

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, or 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree.

• Experience in Revenue Integrity, chargemaster management, charge capture, auditing, coding, reimbursement, or revenue cycle operations is preferred.

• Familiarity with Epic charging workflows, Charge Router, workqueue management, or operational troubleshooting is desirable.

• Possess strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.

• Advanced skills in Excel and data analysis are preferred.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting findings, recommendations, and solutions effectively.

• Related professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CPA, CISA, CPC, CCS, etc.) are preferred.
