This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee AI-generated outputs pertaining to Holocaust-related inquiries and monitor the citations of USHMM resources.
• Evaluate and document recommendations for on-page optimization for articles within the Holocaust Encyclopedia.
• Analyze trending keywords utilizing Google’s Search Console.
• Review and categorize identification cards of Holocaust survivors and victims.
• Compose alt text for images featured in the Holocaust Encyclopedia.
• Must be enrolled as a Junior or higher in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, majoring in Museum Studies, Holocaust Studies, History, Marketing, Communications, Publishing, or a related discipline.
• Proficient in productivity software such as Google Suite (e.g., Google Sheets, Docs, Slides) for effective communication and report generation.
• Proven experience with Google Search Console and SEO principles, gained through coursework, internships, or relevant projects.
• A strong interest in AI tools and their effects on the contemporary online information landscape.
• A passion for engaging with content related to Holocaust history and memorialization.
• Eagerness to learn about the editorial and production processes involved in web publishing within a museum environment.
• Highly organized and capable of working independently while receiving guidance from virtual staff.
