Intern – Analytics, Data Science

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain automated dashboards utilizing Looker Studio/Google Data Studio to monitor KPIs and business performance.

• Write and optimize SQL queries for extracting, transforming, and loading data from databases such as BigQuery and PostgreSQL.

• Create visual representations of intricate datasets for stakeholders without technical backgrounds.

• Assist in cleansing and validating datasets to guarantee the accuracy and integrity of reporting.

• Support in-depth analyses of specific business challenges.

• Identify avenues to automate manual reporting processes via Google Sheets or scheduled SQL scripts.

• Collaborate directly with seasoned tech leads and executives.

• Contribute to dashboards utilized by leadership for strategic business decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Fundamental to intermediate knowledge of SQL, including joins, subqueries, and aggregations.

• Practical experience with Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI through academic or project-related work.

• Proficient in Google Sheets or Excel, including the use of pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.

• Strong capacity to connect insights and translate data into compelling narratives.

• Ability to communicate technical findings in a clear and concise manner.

• Must be currently enrolled in a university program that mandates On-the-Job Training (OJT) or an internship for graduation.

• Capability to provide a School Endorsement Letter.

• Ability to facilitate the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the company and the educational institution.

• Willingness to fulfill the required hours as dictated by the school curriculum, typically between 200 and 600 hours.
