Intermediate Test Automation Engineer – Performance Testing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement automated performance testing for both new and existing functionalities of the product.

• Evaluate performance testing outcomes to pinpoint bottlenecks, investigate problems, and deliver actionable insights to engineering teams.

• Oversee application and service performance on AWS during the execution of tests.

• Work collaboratively with developers and cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate performance enhancements.

• Sustain and improve current performance test suites.

• Engage in test planning, backlog refinement, and participate in various Agile ceremonies.

• Record test outcomes and communicate performance insights to stakeholders.

• Aid in the advancement of performance testing processes, tools, and best practices.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing or test automation.

• Strong expertise in Python and object-oriented programming.

• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS.

• Capability to work with requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Proficient in analyzing test results, diagnosing performance issues, and conveying findings effectively.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data-driven methodologies.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to operate efficiently across diverse teams.

• Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies, including Gatling and Scala.

• Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency.

• **Desirable:**

• Practical experience in performance testing.

• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as Gatling or equivalents.

• Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with Docker and containerization.
